Thirteenth Birthday

Today is Anna's (C's daughter) 13th birthday. I made this card for her. I thought it seemed "age appropriate". :) Next I have to make my November birthday cards...someone will be 40!

Orange and Pink and Vanilla - Oh My!

Here's a "hello" card that I made today.  I'm not sure who it'll go to, but I was inspired to use the papers again.  I LOVE these colors together.  They just make me so happy!

Technically, the colors are Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red, and Vanilla.

Such Fond Memories

I made this set of memory cards for my niece, Sophia, last week.  I tried to laminate them tonight with the clear store bought stuff that you protect your social security card with.  It didn't stick!  Dang it!  So, I guess I'll have to see how much it would be at Office Depot or Staples to get them laminated.  I think they'll last a little longer in a house with 2 kids if they are at least shred-proof.

The backs are just the solid periwinkle-ish color cardstock.  It was a lot of fun making these and picking out the images that I thought she would like. There are 12 images, 2 of each, making 24 cards.  I hope she likes them.  (More than that, I hope I can get them in the mail to her before she's in college! :) )

Christmas Card Preview

You may think it's early, but as you know...I've had some time on my hands.  :D  This is a sneak peak of our Christmas cards this year.  The stamped image is complete and colored for 36 cards.  I have to order some red paper for the base, but the main part is complete.  Woohoo!

Anna and I saw this stamp last year, but it was too late for Christmas cards.  I thought about this little guy all year and knew that he'd be perfect for this year's card.  I'm so excited, because it's so "me".  :)

Sweet and Sour Birthday Card

I made this card with Stampin' Up!'s Sweet & Sour paper.  I LOVE the colors of this paper and think the card turned out awesome.  Of course, I 'borrowed' the design from another blog, but the colors were all my pickin'.  :)  This card was for Sarah, C's sister.

Water Front Property

So, as you know, we've had quite a bit of rain this week.  By quite a bit, I mean within a few hours our back yard went from the first picture to the to the next few.  I didn't let Annie go out back when the water was there, because I was afraid she'd wash away just like our mulch.  :(  (By the way the mulch was not in the pile anymore, we had already put it all out.)  There was so much rain/flooding that they had to close the road behind our house on Monday and on Thursday.

On a craft note I have been working on my Christmas cards.  I've got the stamped images colored and done on 26 of them.  Pretty cool! :)  I'm debating on showing you those, because I want them to be a surprise.

I'd say that water line is at least 10 inches!
